What services does clipping24 offer?

Color corrections
We adjust the colors of your images or of a specific section. Contrast, sharpness and brightness are optimized and color faults corrected. Of course, we make sure every single detail and hue is preserved.

Retouching
Do your images have unsightly blemishes or scratches, or are you unhappy with the overall look of entire image parts? We adjust and and improve the respective image by hand using Adobe Photoshop tools.

Vectorization
Do you have an existing image or a scanned drawing that you would prefer as a vector graphic? We create vector graphics for logos, product sketches and exploded view drawings in Adobe Illustrator. Via conversion from pixel image to vector graphic the image dimensions can be increased or decreased without suffering loss of quality.

Clipping path
The clipping path isolates certain objects within images, or whole parts of images, from their surroundings. This “extraction” technique allows the placing of objects in new surroundings or in front of a new background. Elements to be cut out are manually traced using the Adobe Photoshop pencil. This ensures high qualty, precision and natural-looking lines.

Masking
Do you want to edit specific parts of your images or correct the colors within these parts? We manually create pixel-accurate masks that will make your follow-up work easier.

Where and how are the images edited?

All services are carried out under German supervision in Thailand. Our on-site employees are trained in accordance with German standards, and all projects undergo final inspection by the clipping24 team in Germany. All image editing is performed entirely by hand in Adobe Photoshop und Illustrator.

How does clipping24 actually work?

After being personally registered in our system by a clipping24 staff member, you then send us a sample image. After estimating the workload anticipated for your sample image, we immediately give you an individual quotation for the entire order. Then you can create a new “job” using the clipping24 software, upload your images to our server and download them when the editing process has been completed. It’s that easy!

How do I install the clipping24 software?

After downloading the software you can install it on any major Windows and Macintosh system. Just click on the file and follow the instructions.

How do I create a new „job“?

After starting the clipping24 software, click on the “New” button in the top left corner to open a new order window. In the “Job” field enter your personal project title (e. g. Extraction Winter Catalogue 12). Now select the type of editing required (extraction, masks, vectorization, color correction or retouching), indicate the number of images to be edited and, if required, any additional editing requirements, in the “jobinfo” field. Finally, click on the “Save” button to create your “job” in our system and to complete your order.

After saving your order an automatic “Job-No” will be added to the “Job” field. Your order may now be identified at any time with this “Job-No”. Saving your job activates the bottom part of the order window. You can now create or rename folders and drag and drop your images into them. This will automatically copy the data to our server and thus complete the data transfer. Your next step is to click on “Order” and then specify your preferred delivery date. As soon as we have received your order we will send you a confirmation email.

Which file formats does clipping24 accept?

You can send us your images in any file size and any commonly used file format. If there is a problem with a specific format, we will contact you immediately.

What will happen to the data?

Via the clipping24 software your image data will be copied into your orders folder on our data server. Throughout the entire editing process your images will remain in this private area. Upon completion of the order, your images will be moved to a folder named “Ready”, where they will be available for you to download for the next 14 days.

When will I receive my images?

For standard orders your images will be returned within 24 hours. Express orders are ready for delivery no more than one hour after the order is placed (depending on the size of the order).

How can I pick up my images?

As soon as we have completed your order, you will receive an email containing a link. This link will take you straight to your images.

What means of payment are there?

You can choose to pay by direct debit or invoice. Individual payment options can be agreed upon depending on the size of the order.

What if a rare error does occur?

If an error should ever occur during the processing of your order, you should contact us immediately. As a rule, there is no additional charge for remedying such errors. Quality is our highest priority, and we welcome your comments and suggestions –your criticism too.
